Code of conduct

Sports provide an opportunity to learn, grow, connect with others, and put our values into practice. We want the XXXIII High School Binational Games 2026 to take place in an atmosphere of respect, encouragement, sportsmanship, and positive community spirit.

To ensure that this event is a true celebration of sports, we invite all parents and spectators to follow the Code of Conduct below.

Code of conduct for parents and spectators at sporting events

  1. Respect: I will treat athletes, coaches, officials, organizers, parents, and spectators with respect at all times.
  2. Positive Support: I will contribute to a positive atmosphere by encouraging athletes, using supportive language, and recognizing the effort and commitment of all participants.
  3. Sportsmanship: I will accept officials’ decisions, event organizers’ decisions, and game results with a positive attitude, avoiding negative reactions, inappropriate comments, or protests. I will remain in the areas designated for spectators at all times.
  4. Celebrating the Spirit of Sport: I will enjoy each game as an opportunity for athletes to grow personally and socially, while promoting enjoyment, fair play, and the development of new friendships.

Let’s enjoy the tournament with enthusiasm, respect, and camaraderie!

Consequences for failure to follow the code of conduct

Failure to comply with these expectations may result in the following measures:

  • A verbal warning from the event organizers.
  • A request to leave the sporting venue for the remainder of the game, without the possibility of re-entry.
  • In serious or repeated cases, the individual may be removed from the event. The delegation involved may also receive a sports-related penalty through a deduction in its supporters’ score for failure to follow the established expectations. This deduction will affect the school’s overall evaluation for the Sportsmanship Award.

Your commitment plays an essential role in creating a positive environment for our young athletes. We sincerely appreciate your support, cooperation, and example.
